MEET CRYSTAL

Hello, I am Crystal—award winning photographer and photography studio based in Wake Forest, NC.

I'm a wife, mama (to an amazing little boy who's our little sunshine) and we have a three little pups that round out our humble family. My philosophy is emotion filled and love drenched photography. I don't believe in the stuffy photography experience. I believe in laughter, warmth and getting to know each of my couples and families. Wide open spaces on location are my jam. Getting to know your past travel experiences and family outings are just some of the fun things we talk about while together. I absolutely love natural clean light and I'm all for an adventure to photograph you out at a beautiful location. I've been incredibly honored to embark on a photography journey over the last decade photographing lovely couples, families and children. I've partnered my love of being a photographer with being a mentor to building other photographers in the wedding industry.

What am I up to when not in studio? I've found a passion for gardening. You know you've hit an age milestone when you just can't wait to prune peonies! On stormy nights, I'm cozying up at home with my husband and baby boy, on blue sky days I'm either bike riding or scouting beautiful photography locations. Another truth, I'm a fan of all music. From Norah Jones (and Jazz being my favorite) to 90's alternative rock to Keith Urban, I'm a fan of all. Trust me, I'm the gal who has even loved those in between or outside. Only you and I can find out what we'll play at our next session! I truly feel blessed to have found a passion that has made me feel full with purpose through photographing families and love-stories unfolding. My soul is forever happy
